BACKGROUND –

I was born in Portugal in 1962, and migrated to Brazil in 2003.

Since 1985, I always had worked using the English language due to continuous dealings with international companies. But in 2003, I began performing professionally as translator and proofreader for major Brazilian publishing houses, such as Objetiva, Novo Século, Geração Editorial, Editora Paulinas, etc.

THE REASON FOR BEING IN THIS PROJECT –

I am a wholehearted believer and a devoted student of the Fifth Epochal Revelation since the year 2000.

Since the very beginning of my study of the Fifth Epochal Revelation and participation in the Urantia movement, I always thought that The Urantia Book copyright should be free to the whole world. The Urantia Book belongs to humankind, not to a specific human organization. I can understand the zeal for its copyright in the early stages of its outreach, but not now when the original text is all over the internet and any attempt of distorting it would not prevail.

MY BOOKS –

I published two books inspired by The Urantia Book. And I intend to keep on producing more books aiming at the dissemination of the Urantia Documents.

“APOCALYPSE – YOUR FAITH WILL SAVE YOU”

My first book – “Apocalypse – Your Faith Will Save You” – is a study on biblical prophecies and the role The Urantia Book will play in the entire third millennium.

HISTÓRICO –

Nasci em Portugal em 1962 e migrei para o Brasil em 2003.

Desde 1985, sempre trabalhei com a língua inglesa devido às negociações contínuas com empresas internacionais. Mas em 2003 comecei a atuar profissionalmente como tradutor e revisor para grandes editoras brasileiras, como Objetiva, Novo Século, Geração Editorial, Editora Paulinas, etc.

A RAZÃO DE ESTAR NESTE PROJETO –

Sou um crente sincero e estudante dedicado da Quinta Revelação de Época desde o ano 2000.

Desde o início do meu estudo da Quinta Revelação de Época e da participação no movimento urantiano, sempre pensei que os direitos autorais do Livro de Urântia deveriam ser livres para o mundo inteiro. O Livro de Urântia pertence à humanidade, não a uma organização humana específica. Posso entender o zelo pelos seus direitos autorais nos estágios iniciais da sua divulgação, mas não agora, quando o texto original está em toda a internet e qualquer tentativa de distorcê-lo jamais prevaleceria.

MEUS LIVROS –

Publiquei dois livros inspirados no Livro de Urântia. E pretendo continuar produzindo mais livros visando a divulgação dos Documentos de Urântia.
